Above: Not only is Mig the interaction designer at Threadless, but he moonlights as a t-shirt model. WORK IT!
Please join us MONDAY, February 16th at NOON in room 165 for a video chat with Mig Reyes!
Mig Reyes is a designer and cookie eater from Chicago. He's now two years out of college, and has been lucky enough to work at some amazing design studios like Rule29 and Segura, Inc. He then had a stint at an ad agency, and realized that just wasn't for him. Now, he found a home within the confines of awesome, creating for the web at the best t-shirt company in the world—Threadless.
Besides helping make magic at Threadless, Mig also:
Teaches Advanced Logo Design at The Chicago Portfolio School, interviews inspiring creative industry professionals (like ME and your future PSU professor Frank) on Humble Pied, serves as the Social Media Liaison for AIGA, makes the underground Chicago music scene a better-looking place with straightSilly, speaks at universities and conferences about being a young designer, dishes out design student advice on 36 Point and contributes to Scott Hull, CMYK Magazine along with other neat designery publications.
A few people that think Mig and his work are pretty ace:
Adobe, AIGA, CMYK, Grain Edit, Print, Rockport, Smashing Magazine and Swiss Miss. (Mig loves them back.)
Thanks for these great stuff, these are nicely designed.
