Ladies and Gentlemen: RAY FENWICK!
Ray Fenwick is an artist and illustrator living in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. A former improv comedian and theatre school dropout, Ray now occupies himself drawing and painting with a focus on language, text and humour.
As an artist he has shown paintings and book works in Canada and the United States.
As an illustrator, he has worked for The New York Times, Nike, Random House, Nickolodeon, Pentagram and others. He has also lectured on his use of sketchbooks.
His first book, Hall of Best Knowledge, was published by Fantagraphics. His next book, a collection of short narrative paintings, will be published by Fantagraphics in late 2010.
I don't even know what images to upload from the Talented Ray Fenwick. He is a creator of WONDERFUL and simply makes and makes and makes. Ray is beaming in this Tuesday at NOON in room 170 so please come see Mr. Fenwick in full Skype Glory. In the meantime, take a look at his work.
