STEP 1 - Prep for in-class Assignment: Document and Explore One of your Existing Collections!
A collection can consist of any like items you have. A good example of different types of collections is this blog.

Whatever your collection, photograph it, draw it, show us your collection of 15 - 20 pieces. Show it to us on an 8.5" x 11" mood board post this on your personal Flickr account in a set called "225.10 - research."
Also bring to class your investigation documentation on each individual piece. Choose 5 ways of documentation from the list below. Post these in the Flickr set called "225.10 - research."

textures
movement each piece makes
shapes
sizes
story of each piece
cultural history of each piece
materials of each piece
where each piece was found/purchased
imagined character traits of each piece
We will be working in class on a mini zine about your collection using the research you do between now and then. I will provide you with a Photoshop file dieline of the zine format to use in class. The zine will be due by the end of class.
STEP 2 - Final Final for your big project!
Upload image[s] of your final piece[s] to your personal Flickr page and the group Flickr page in a set called "225.08 - final final."
BRING TO CLASS:
1. Final Printed Project #8
2. Laptop
3. Any other equipment you'll need to create an in-class zine!
