What is your position/title, group and place of work?
Graphic Designer, Oregon Public Broadcasting (OPB). I have been working here for a year and some change, and before that I was at adidas for 5 or 6 years.
How did you find your current design position?
Craigslist! Saw it posted and said, “I love Rick Steves' Europe. I would like to work there.” I sent in a book of my work in a box that I designed to try and make it a bit more noticeable. Which I think did help.
Please come to the Publication Fair this Sunday, 11am-6pm at The Cleaners at the Ace Hotel (SW Stark between 10th + 11th).
See the best in books, magazines, and printed matter from your favorite PDX printers, publishers, and publication vendors. Enjoy popcorn balls and hot cider. Take part in free public info sessions about the ins & outs of future publication. Buy great books!
