Beyond every creative studio there is always the left brain work to be done like managing office tasks online and off. Fontana Studios is in search of a intern for Fall 2011. The position would include helping with day to day tasks and assisting with a variety of (left/right brain) projects about 6-8 hours a week. Although this internship is unpaid, this could be a wonderful chance for someone who’d like to gain experience learning the process of an art /design studio. This is ideally for someone in the PDX area.

This position requires diverse skill sets:
*Must have a laptop with updated basic programs: Mac OS most preferred
-Mature work ethic, proactive, and can work efficiently and independently
-Strong writing, digital file organization, archiving, and researching skills
-Strong communication skills and ability to take directions
-Keen eye for layout and design
-An active interest in social networking- Twitter, Facebook, blogs and other social media outlets!
-Photo editing software experience
A few extra pluses:
_Experience with email marketing (simple newsletters, copy writing, list management)
_WordPress/ Content management
_Graphic design experience: Adobe Indesign, Photoshop & Illustrator
_Photography experience
