Kalakendra Picks A Proposal!

The board of Kalakendra has selected a proposal to develop and execute! Kalakendra conveyed their admiration for all of the work and for the wonderful presentations. The board loved all of the proposals and saw the potential, creativity and hard work put into all of the presentations! Kalakendra is excited to be working PSU-GD and we are excited to see the work produced and in action! Congratulations Natsuko Pursell!

"Hi PSU profs,

I spoke with NEZA (Raul and Susanna) today and they would like to go with the design that had the Aztecan-looking figure with NEZA underneath.  The color scheme was orange/red/green.  

They loved the ideas from every single designer and it was a really hard choice for them to make. However, they also recognized that the elements in the other logos were traditionally reflective of Mexican culture (cactus, samba, etc) whereas the head figure was really different and stood out among Mexican-type restaurants/carts.  

I let them know that the person who designed the "winning" logo would contact them soon.

Swoon Chooses A Proposal!

GREAT WORK ALL GD DESIGNERS!!

Kimberly repeatedly stated that she loved all the work and sent heartfelt thanks for all! She was beyond impressed with all of the presentations. She was blown away by all the effort, care, creativity, and ideas! She said it was very, very hard to choose.

After much deliberation Kimberly felt that there were four proposals that best represented Swoon - these were the presentations of Lisa Kennedy, Micah Kuhl, Duy Truong and Laura Jones. The final proposal she chose is by Lisa Kennedy. Kimberly felt Lisa Kennedy's proposal best fits the needs of Swoon! Congratulations Lisa!

321 Identity Work | You Are All Superstars And Don't You Forget It! | +Volare!

We are VERY serious when we say (to everyone who will listen) that ALL the work the 321 student designers are creating is excellent. You are all making very strong identity and branding work! The creativity and depth of thinking applied to all aspects of research, strategy and design is wonderful and very evident to all on this blog. We are excited to see your next projects develop!

We are also very excited to announce the first designer selected by our client — VOLARE. Volare stated numerous times in the most heart felt manner their deepest respect, thanks and excitement for the identity work created for them. To say the least Volare was VERY impressed! Volare stated they were blown away by the professionalism, creative ideas, the level and depth of commitment, effort, thinking, hard work and strategy that went into all the work. Volare commented over and over and over again about the strength of the presentations. We know this to be true of ALL of the GD students! Ok drum roll........Congratulations Amanda Mansur!
